Roads: Markings and Signs

26 November 2009: replied to Question asked by Lord Lucas - whether Her Majesty's Government will use their powers to ensure that road markings and signs are compliant with regulations, particularly where markings or signs create dangers for road users. Lord Faulkner of Worcester: My Lords, the Government would consider using their powers to direct local authorities to remove traffic signs where there was sufficient justification. full report in Hansard
