Following the General Election he has relinquished the post of Lord in Waiting, and has been appointed to the panel of members of the House of Lords who act as Deputy Chairmen of Committees. He has been reinstated as Chairman of the reconstituted War Heritage Group, and returned as Chairman of the British-Taiwan APPG. read more.... |

On 2 April I asked Her Majesty's Government: What are the arrangements for the tax treatment of foreign footballers playing in final matches in European competitions at stadiums within the United Kingdom; and what are the likely consequences of these arrangements for winning the rights to stage finals in the United Kingdom. |
